Ate here twice during our stay at the hotel this cafe resides in (UGA Center Hotel). First was from the grab and go kiosk prior to the basketball game. I chose the chicken salad scoop with fruit. My teen daughter had the Cobb salad and my non/GF son had the Caesar salad. Everything was labeled well and the croutons were on the side in their own container for the Caesar. We noticed that the yogurt parfait option had the granola in a separate container too. Everyone enjoyed their light meal and no one got sick. The second meal was at breakfast. At the counter, a sign indicated to tell a manager about any allergies, etc. The manager and the server were very accommodating. I was told I could have the eggs, and any of the meats. Obviously, no bread. I asked if I could have fruit as a substitute and they said absolutely! It was not cut fruit unfortunately but apples, bananas and oranges. Still happy for the substitute. No issue with breakfast or coffee. It appeared to us that teachers and staff were eating there as well, so you can still dine in or grab and go, even if you aren’t staying at the hotel. They have dinner menus that indicate a few GF menu items too. Overall happy with the options, quality and level of care. I’m glad that we could just park and not be concerned with tracking down safe food.
