Buono Bagels

I actually previously posted this review and it disappeared. Rude staff who question allergies. Bagels are frozen and sad. Better off eating freezer section bagels

It was such a wonderful surprise to find that this friendly and well-run deli carried gluten-free bagels and breakfast items when we were traveling South on the Garden State Parkway. The GF items are kept either frozen (muffins, sweet breads) or under plastic (bagels) Of you are just taking to go, a celiac would have options, but if you are looking to have your items toasted, made into a san which etc, the place does not appear to have any GF dedicated space. That being said, the bagel sandwich and muffin I had were very tasty. The service was super and my non-gf friends said the regular bagels were delicious and NY authentic.
