They do not have a Gf menu but they mark the menu with things that can be made Gf. The staff was knowledgeable and assured a glove change and as much caution as they can take. I will update it I get a reaction as I am just now eating.

So rare to get a GF fish & chips!! This was delicious! Not a dedicated GF kitchen, but for those of us who can handle cross contamination, this is awesome!!

I was not able to eat here. Although menu is marked gluten free, they do not have a dedicated gf fryer so the fish and chips are not gluten free. I was very disappointed!! I believe other things could have been safer but did not risk it.

Their gluten free cheese curds and fish and chips were simply AMAZING. I didn’t think I would ever get to have fish and chips again.

Definitely not for someone with celiac. Even the waitress said we should not eat any food off the menu if you are celiac. They actually have gluten free fish and chips but admit that they fry it in the same oil as beer batter. A shame because the location is fantastic.

Best gluten free fish and chips I've ever had! They were so good that my husband who is not gluten intolerant, thought they were fabulous and didn't realize they were gluten free. They use rockfish which is excellent. I don't know if their prep is celiac friendly or not.

UPDATE:

I found out my last visit to Buoy that they use the same fryer for gluten and gluten free, but keep the oil temperature very hot, which is supposed to fix cross contamination. I've never been sick after a meal there, and yet I have gotten sick at other restaurants that use the same fryer for both. Had I known this about Buoy, I actually would not have tried it---but I've been there at least a dozen times and never gotten sick so maybe there IS something to the high temperature idea!

The ambience was nice the octopus ceviche was good but the salad and chicken were disappointing and over priced. $20 for a spinach salad with 3 ingredients? Maybe I should have tried the fish and chips but they didn't have a separate fryer.

They understood what GF meant. For example, they knew the ingredients for their fries were GF, but the preparation was not. I had their spiced pistachios and hummus with pickled veggies. Both were very good.
