My wife has celiac. We tried to eat at Buger Fi today. The cashier told us "Nothing on the menu can be guaranteed gluten free." The manager told us they do not have a dedicated fryer (as this profile claims).
No
They had no idea about cross contamination and it’s over priced.
No
They no longer keep their fries separate from the onion rings. Bummer. Tried to talk to supervisor...completely clueless.
No
Delicious bun-free burger. The server confirmed that the fries are cooked in a separate frier than the onion rings. Hard cider on tap. Husband has celiac and didn't get sick. All burgers are GF without the bun except the veggie burger.
Yes
Very knowledgeable young staff!
All GF items are clearly listed on the menu & staff clearly lists everything on the receipt/order!
Salads, burgers, fries & shakes!
To-Go orders are packaged nicely & clearly marked with GF stickers!
Dine-In orders are also clearly marked! Great food!
Thanks B21

No bun and can’t have the fries. So many other burger options to choose from in the area. Why go to a place that makes zero effort?

They have totally automated the ordering process without regard to allergies. It is possible to get a lettuce wrap on a burger, but no way to mark allergy or ask for a glove change. RDU airport is a huge disappointment for gluten free options.
