In terms of cross contamination safety, this place seemed fine. Menu was marked but waitress didn’t seem entirely aware so I had to push for her to label the order GF. Ate safely here but honestly…the food was just not good (for me or my friends)! Very dry, flavorless and not worth the price.

Their tortilla chip containing items are marked GF and they are made in a shared fryer. The waitress did not alert us to this, we asked. It also took an hour to get our food.

Staff understands Celiac vs "Gluten Intolerance" and the new "Gluten Free Dietary CHOICE"; The latter two will not result in months of unnecessary pain and continued "glutened" symptoms (as we Silly-Yaks like to call an unintentional ingestion of gluten). They can sub almost anything & will prepare a bowl if you'd prefer.
Not only informed and safe (I've been eating here for years; even before they had a dedicated GF stamp on appropriate menu options!)...
Burrito Union has by far the best, most fresh & inventive flavors (as well as gigantic portions!) in Twin Ports Mexican Food. Absolutely make it a stop on your list and support LOCAL!! ❤

Ordered online through a delivery service, the salsas were delicious. Several of the tacos are gluten free, as well as the chips.
