Ordered takeout and called at a very busy time to ask if the sushi is gluten free. They quickly replied “yes we use rice vinegar instead of malt.” They clearly know what gluten is but I’m second guessing cross contamination problems after finding roe in my sushi that didn’t have it. I also went in person and they told me a few things were safe that visibly weren’t (in their defense, it was super busy and that always makes me nervous).
Use your best judgment, they might be totally safe but I left feeling a little unsure.

They have GF soy sauce!!! And many of their rolls are GF…mostly the fresh fish ones. A bit pricey but beautifully presented and really good.

I ordered a bunch of more plain roles like tuna, salmon, Avo, yellowtail & scallion. I called in advance and CONFIRMED with two people it’s only rice vinegar and they said yes! I didn’t bother asking abt gf soy sauce but they sent along gluten free soy sauce that had little handwritten labels that said gluten free on the soy sauce :’)
