Buttermilk Cafe

Honestly, this used to be a go-to place but not so much anymore. While they do have a gluten free menu and some GF coffee syrups, I’ve gotten sick every time I’ve been there the last year. Different servers have reported different things to be gluten free and we’ve found lipstick and thumb prints on cups/plates. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I can’t endorse it in good conscience as a celiac.

Dedicated gf menu and separate area for gf foods is advertised. Second time I had pancakes I feel there was some cross contamination from the griddle or dishes potentially. The staff us very knowledgeable and accommodating, one of the few places I feel I can trust for brunch.

Huge portions! Separate gf menu and kitchen and waitstaff are trained in gf needs.

It does get quite busy so it is noisy but it is so good!

Food was good! Portion sizes are huge but they were very accommodating with my health needs when I talked to the server.
