ZERO STARS: Terrible terrible terrible experience here. I told literally everyone (when I made the reservation, when we walked in (at the host stand), the bartender (we sat at the bar) and the CHEF that I had Celiac disease. Open kitchen- we sat next to the kitchen and the Chef. The Chef showed me the menu and pointed out the items that could be made gluten free. I said that I would eat anything from the menu that could be made safely. The Chef said either of the salads and a few other options. I asked him to pick a salad and went with the Chef’s suggestion. When the salad was served, I thought that it had bacon on it. Ate about 1/3 of the salad before I got a bad feeling. I asked the bartender what was on the salad and next thing I know there was a big conference happening and, you guessed it, “we are very sorry, that’s gluten on your salad.” I completely lost my mind. Sick for the first 3 days of my summer vacation. I’ve eaten at less “upscale” restaurants that have demonstrated more concern and care about food allergies. An EXTREMELY upsetting situation. As an aside- I took my son and nephew out for ice cream a few days later, and the teenager who was scooping the ice cream offered to change her gloves, clean off the ice cream scoop and confirm that the frozen yogurt had zero gluten in it.

Some menu items are gluten free. The waitress double checked with the kitchen for items that could be modified. When the food came out they confirmed the dish was gf.

Had a delicious gluten free meal. The swordfish chops were so good. I am super sensitive and I had no problem. I will definitely be back.

Very knowledgeable on celiac! Sat at the bar and she made sure with the chef in plain view that everything was GF, cannot thank the staff enough.

Staff was super knowledgeable and assured me most of the menu was already gluten-free or could be altered to be gf. Very attentive staff and had an amazing meal. Will definitely add this to my list of regulars when vacationing on the Cape! Make sure to call ahead for reservations, the place is small and quite popular.
