Went there for dinner with a friend. They only had one item that was celiac safe and only a couple that were gluten friendly. The waiter said all the other items would have gluten or some kind of cross contamination because the kitchen isn’t careful. Definitely would not recommend for gluten free eaters!

The waiter seemed so knowledgeable and friendly, but unfortunately I got incredibly sick immediately after eating here. Eater beware :-(.

Used to really like this place but the quality has gone downhill. If you really want gf Italian food in downtown Windsor, however, it is your only option. Restaurant is a good size and recently there’s always plenty of available tables. Ambiance is nice and wait staff are friendly. We’ve never had issues with cross contamination or misunderstanding what celiac is.

Been here a few times since being diagnosed with Celiac. The wait staff is extremely accommodating and knowledgeable. They go the extra mile to ensure they limit cross contamination. The gluten free bread, pasta, pizza, etc. is all fantastic. I’ve been very pleased with all of their gluten free options. Highly recommend Cacciatore for anyone with Celiac or gluten intolerance.
