Caesar Pierogi & Cafe

Caesar is just a gem and the pierogis were delicious. The decor is so delightfully quaint and the service tremendous. My celiac daughter loved her pierogis and her dessert. I feel so confident about how safe they are with their precautions because Caesar was even telling ME how to prepare my daughter’s pierogis separately from the rest of the family’s (he only has certain flavors in GF but they are the most classic so it worked out. My daughter wouldn’t have wanted the ones the rest of us wanted to try). Do not hesitate to go here and eat in or order frozen to take home and prepare at your leisure. A total gem.

This place is so cute and wonderful. The pierogi is made offsite in a gf facility. The ambiance makes you feel like you’re in someone’s home.

Finding a place with gf pierogi is amazing. When I ordered, they were out of gf meat, but I still got the gf potato and onion (I ordered for delivery because trying to find parking near their physical location was impossible when I tried a few days earlier). Yummy, but very peppery inside.

The gluten free pierogis are made off-site in a dedicated facility

This cafe feels like a little taste of Europe in our own neighborhood. Sitting on the patio and sipping chocolate and coffee brought back memories of Europe. The inside of the restaurant is also really cute and has little trinkets that past patrons have left behind. It is a cute touch.

Coffee: The cappuccino proportions were spot on. That was one of the best cappuccinos that I have had in Chicago

Pierogi: I had Ukrainian potato and cheese and spinach and feta and they were both amazing. My wife had gluten free sweet cheese and potato and cheese and they were the best gluten free pierogis we have ever had. We are really happy that you can buy them frozen.

Gelato: The gelato is all gluten free and delicious. The texture and flavor are perfect. It was nice to eat on a hot day

Sipping chocolate: The sipping chocolate is nicely balanced. It wasn't too sweet and it was perfectly melted with a nice raspberry in the middle. Also gluten free!

Bought the frozen gluten and dairy free pierogi to take home. They maintained their structure while cooking and were tasty! Didn’t get sick! Hopefully they come out with fruit flavored gluten free ones.

Such a lovely place. The gf perogi, cocoa, and tea options are excellent. The service is wonderful and they were very careful keeping gf items separated from other stuff. Will definitely return.

GF pierogis are wonderful. They have their own brand Caesarpierogi.com. Purchased them frozen and cooked at home. I believe they have 6 varieties. Staff was very kind and helpful.

Food was excellent! While limited (6 flavors) of gluten-free pierogis, but my wife really enjoyed them with no issues. He cooks them in a separate pot.

They make a limited number of cold chocolate desserts which are absolutely wonderful.

We ate outside on the sidewalk with our dog. He brought out a water bowl and treats for the dog.
