There is absolutely no reason that this restaurant should be on this list. We went here and I mentioned that my 5-yo son has Celiac to the waitress. She told us very matter of fact that there is absolutely nothing they can do for us and that she didn't know what dishes contain gluten and what did not. (She seemed like an extremely seasoned waitress, too.) I asked about the salads, she shrugged and said that she didn't know and that we should assume that everything has gluten in it. I asked about an ingredients list as most restaurants have them, she said no. I asked about the ingredients in the dressings, she said she didn't know because they don't make their own. (Which would mean that there's a bottle with a list of ingredients... um, hello?!) I asked if she could glance at the ingredients list to which she refused. She said that they wouldn't (not couldn't, mind you) clean off a section of the grill or use a separate area of the grill for anything we ordered. She assured us that they would be right beside everything containing gluten.

This used to be my favorite restaurant and I'm still a little shocked that this happened. I've never gotten up and walked out of a restaurant but we walk out of this place for the last time. What a shame.

I had a very bad experience here. The waitress treated me as a bother when I told her I was gluten free. She told me she didn't know what items on the menu had gluten in them and I suggested she ask the kitchen before placing my order. My salad was brought out with croutons on it. I used to love this place, but this experience left a bad taste in my mouth.

Celiac

Before being diagnosed with celiac, this was one of my favorite local restaurants. Now, however, the only things I can order are the nachos or a salad. All the appetizers are breaded/fried, and the rest of the menu is pizza, wraps, or panini. Oh, and pasta. So, scratch this off the list until they add to their menu? Maybe? Someday? Even then, cross contamination will be an issue. Really bummed.

Right now about the only choices are salad but they're adding to their menu soon to include more variety. The staff was very knowledgable and up front with my options. Also they did NOT make me feel like an inconvenience for asking and were very friendly.
