Would not recommend this spot at all if you are celiac. Ripe for cross contamination and the staff to their credit admit it.
Steer clear but if you read my review I left of the resort itself you’ll see how to have a wonderful celiac safe experience at the Grand Wailea.

This is the quick service place inside/upstairs in the Grand Wailea in Maui. We got poke to go twice, the chef was very knowledgeable when I went to ask him everything and he prepared it separately for my son and without the typical fried wheat crackers. I'd recommend going first to talk to the chef at the cooking window to make sure something's going to be safe before then getting in line to order--we ended up having to wait, then go talk to the chef, then get back in line which was just annoying of everyone, esp. as allergy food always takes longer to prepare anyway! Nice to have a fast option for lunch that was safe though, we're not as comfortable with room service. Don't remember if they had gf soy sauce or not--we had bought our own at the grocery store anyway!

Felt safe eating here. They have GF pizza and sandwiches and Udi’s muffins. Everything at the Grand Wailea is expensive, but if you order the pizza they give you two 8 inch crusts for $25 and it’s actually a great deal. The pizza was cooked on special metal tins to avoid contamination.

It's definitely not worth eating here unless you happen to be nearby and really hungry. For the same price you can go to many sit down restaurants in the area and enjoy more options.
They took measures to avoid cross contamination when i requested it. No gluten-free menu, but good bread.

Ate here 3x's for breakfast. You have to tell them when you're ordering about three times GF Celiac. Not a big deal. I did not get sick. Scrambled eggs and bacon or a breakfast sandwich. Honestly both were really good. I recommend. $$$ just like everything else.

Ate at this location several times, and each time was wonderful. Very friendly staff and knowledgeable about celiac needs. Mention gluten allergy or celiac upon ordering at the desk, and the instruction will be written (also onto your receipt copy) for the cook order. I recommend the egg and ham sandwich for breakfast and the gluten free pizza for lunch. Food was delicious with generous portions.
Staying at the Grand Wailea and was just planning to grab a coffee here. However, I asked the lady at the counter if they happened to have any gluten free food available and she said yes! I got a ham, egg, & cheese breakfast sandwich on gluten free bread and it was absolutely delicious. Served with mini roasted potatoes. I didn't ask if it was prepared in a separate area but I felt fine afterwards (I know that's not a reliable test so please ask them if you are worried about it!)
