False advertising. Misleading menu.

After a confrontation between my wife and one of the employees that made my wife walk out in tears, the staff admitted to me that the owner uses the "gluten free" section as a marketing tactic. They told me they've tried to get the owner to change it/remove it but he won't because the revenue it brings.

If you absolutely have to eat here, you must must must tell them if you have a gluten allergy. Some of their salad dressings have soy sauce with gluten in it (even the dressings listing in the "gluten free section"), and the "choice of bread or rice" will be defaulted to bread (not gf free) if you do not tell your waiter.
