We came in yesterday my husband loves cafe rio he had been so excited to eat there. We live in Washington now and don't have any there. I have celiacs and can not eat gluten, they have corn tortilla, chicken, fish even steak for me. The fish looked very dry so I got the chicken. I asked for them to change their gloves and the female who was making it said "I just put them on" I was concerned about the fact that the tortilla that was in the tin had been put there by the person making everyone's food. However she should not have argued about it. At this point my husband took over placing the order. My tostada was the worst I have ever tasted it was a salad with little cheese, chicken and some sour cream. The chicken was hard and dry, after the 3rd bite I gave up. My husband asked them to make the chicken fresh. The line cook/server said it would be 10 minutes to cook. 20 minutes went by and not a single word from the staff about the frsh cooked chicken. When we asked to see a manager the cashier smirked and chuckled but refused to answer us.My husband had the Barbacoa pork quesadilla. It tasted good but only had a small amount of meat. There was only enough meat to barely fill 2/3 of the tortilla. They were taking so long to make mine I said nevermind and we left. Very sad. I paid for a 3rd of quesadilla and 3 bits of a tostada. They were rude and did not even care when I told them to let someone know Never mind of the chicken. You should not have to wait 30 mins for chicken and they should have made it the right way to begin with.
