Review

I stayed at the Robey (hotel) and ate at Cafe Robey five times during my stay—twice for breakfast, three times for dinner. Kitchen staff understand and take gluten free seriously. Small waitstaff happy to ask questions of the chef on your behalf and to double confirm an item is GF. I had the omelette, pork chop (minus crispy French onions), crispy pork belly, salmon and top sirloin. It’s hard to choose a favorite among the dinner entrees as they were all truly fantastic. The chef clearly puts a lot of thought into their offerings and all the food was just delightful and an experience in itself. Bartenders are also knowledgeable about which cocktails are gluten free. The fall romance was my favorite. I didn’t get sick at all. They do have gluten free bread. I did not verbally verify they have a gluten free toasting area for their bread but I did not get sick.
