Terrible. Was clear about GF and found a crouton in my salad. Food for whole party was below expectations- low quality and one wrap was inedible due to an incredibly high amount of vinegar.

Ordered a breakfast sandwich on a GF bagel and it was great. Staff is very familiar with allergies and is happy to make substitutions. Great covid-19 safety protocols too, with well marked spaces, contact-free menus, and an intercom system so you can wait for your order outside. Nice little cafe seating area (with heaters!) out front too.

Good options, appear to take proper precautions, never had an issue. It is a slow process, sit down and get comfy. QuesadIlla's are great.

Cute little cafe with really nice employees! The girl taking my order asked me if I needed my sandwich prepared on a separate grill once I mentioned the words "gluten free" and was very patient when I looked up the syrup they use for their smoothies (they are gluten free!) Great service, great food.

Stopped there for lunch after a day at the beach. I had the BLaT on a GF wrap. It was delicious and a perfect portion! Wish I lived closer so I could go there more often! Tons of options.

This place is a wonderful casual breakfast or lunch spot. They handle the gluten requests with definite care and have a great variety if wraps, bagels and sandwiches on their menu. They are right next to the natural food store so you can shop after you enjoy your meal.

My husband and I went before heading on our anniversary weekend to Foxwoods. I had the BLaT in gluten free wrap which was delicious. Bacon, lettuce, avocado and lettuce. However, they added a serving of pasta on the side which was not gluten free. They apologized and gave me a side of fruit salad instead. Very cute place. Staff is friendly too.

The Cowboy Quesadilla was so good! I cannot wait to go back to CT to have it again. My Husband enjoyed his meal as well. We actually sat there for hours after eating to just talk. Great atmosphere for a rainy day!

We went to Cafe Sol twice in our week in Niantic. The first visit, I had a Cowboy Quesadilla with gluten free wraps. They asked if I had an allergy or just GF diet. I told them Celiac; she said they would prepare it separately to avoid cross contamination. Very knowledgeable. This morning, I got a GF bagel and it was delish!!! Bonus- good coffee with GF soy milk!

At the start of my order I told the cashier that I have a gluten allergy and before bringing the order to the kitchen staff she clarified with me that I needed my food prepared with new pans and utensils etc. Very knowledgeable and friendly. The food was excellent, mostly sandwiches with GF bread and salads, but they do have some GF desserts.

Went there for lunch with my mom, grandma and aunt.... the food was awesome. I had the smoked salmon salad and when I asked if the dressing was gf, the staff was ready to show me their dressing recipes and were really nice. My mom and aunt had bagels and really enjoyed them. My grandma got the grilled cheese and said it was a great change from the normal white bread and American cheese. And it came with veggie sticks that she appreciated more than having french fries. And their iced coffee is FANTASTIC! Highly recommend!

there are signs all over the restaurant that say they have GF bread and wraps available and the staff is super knowledgable on the menu so i'm not sure what the last review is about- the food is wonderful and there are a ton of options!
