Caffè Milano - Restaurant

Host was snooty and unhelpful. Restaurant was absolutely empty but our family of Americans in (nice!) athleaisure apparently was not enough to tempt this posh restaurant to accommodate our food allergies (“we do have gluten free pasta but regret that we would not be able to cook it in different water - you may want to try somewhere else.”) Avoid!!!

This place was amazing! First of all the location was stunning. Right on the marina. Second, they immediately offered me gluten free options for pasta and buns for the burger. I ordered pasta with clams (incredible) and they asked if i wanted linguini or penne which was great to offer but obviously i chose linguini lol. Then they brought out 3 warm and delicious gluten free rolls for my meal too!!! The whole meal was delicious. I’d absolutely recommend and eat again.

Although not labeled in the menu, they can offer a variety of GF options, incl. penne, hamburger, Risotto. Difficult to judge the safety measures, but they seem to be aware.

The waiter also said he could not eat gluten, which made me feel very confident in the restaurant. I had a delicious GF pasta and was even offered GF bread!!! It was such a pleasant experience and I would 10000% recommend (also the best aperol spritz I’ve ever had!!).

The staff was so kind and friendly. They explained to me a bunch of things that I can have. I have a gluten & dairy allergy. They made me delicious pasta and even brought me bread!

The staff was amazing. They checked and double checked each item I asked about to ensure it was gluten free. They gave me gluten free bread and I was able to have a gf Tiramisu. Great view with great food.

Staff was knowledgeable about being gluten free. They gave me a couple options to choose from and spoke with the chef. They had pasta, noodles, and some mains. I had the filet, mashed potato's, side salad and gf bread. Delicious and easy to communicate!
