Campio Brewing Co.

Campio is a great place for a cider but that’s about it. Their menu has GF items marked but the staff says if you are celiac do not eat here because of cross contamination. I’ve been here twice and have gotten this response every time. Luckily their staff is very nice and knowledgeable. Only eat here if you do not have a gluten allergy or are sensitive.

Amazing nachos! Nachos made in house, gluten free, layered cheese with great toopings. I ordered take out so didn’t get to ask questions about the deep fryer situation with the chips. But I didn’t get sick!

Great place! I had the Shorty Melt on a GF bun with the Beet Salad. Everything was really good. I also had the Electric Lemonade as a drink and oh my goodness, it was sooooo good! The place was a bit expensive. $40 for lunch with a drink but everything is expensive nowadays. I'd definitely go back again if I was downtown.

I know, GF at a brewery and pizza place? But the food was great and the staff was very knowledgeable. I tried the beet salad and ordered the starter size and actually thought they brought me the full size because it was such a decent size. The pulled pork tacos were awesome as well. My favourite had to be the forager pizza. They specialize in deep dish pizza, but the GF cauliflower crust is not deep dish style. Its a different shape and likely made on an entirely different pan from gluten pizzas. It was thin and crunchy and had a ton of toppings, it was truly amazing. It’s the first pizza I’ve had from a restaurant since my diagnosis and definitely going to become a regular spot! When I asked for GF staff have always asked if it’s an allergy and then flagged it for the kitchen. Anyone whose brought my food out has specified it’s the GF one even when someone has ordered the same GF dish as well, so they are definitely taking extra precaution.
