Great restaurant and experience. Food was remarkable. It is a set menu, but when you tell them you are a celiac (or gluten allergy) they immediately know what they can offer as a substitute. For my meal, the only thing they needed to tweak were toppings on two items. They were more than happy to oblige, and as each course came out they took the time to explain what they did different for mine. I am a minor symptom celiac, and had no issues. Very nice place.

One of the most memorable dining experiences of my life. The food was delicious, creative, and celebrated local ingredients. The wine pairings were excellent. I felt well looked after by the kitchen and servers as a celiac. Most of the dishes were already GF and modifications were made as necessary. They seem to take dietary restrictions seriously.

My best dinner experience in Montreal. Exquisite prix fixe menu with optional wine pairing. Warm, down-to-earth atmosphere. The menu was already sparing with gluten and easily adjusted to eliminate dairy. Highly recommended.
Food was delicious and easily modified to be gluten free (many dishes did not need any modifications), serving staff was helpful and friendly, and overall experience was wonderful. I highly recommend Candide for anyone wanting a unique and tasty meal.

If you’re looking for a fancy chef’s tasting you must eat here. They claim to accommodate any dietary restrictions and they did not lie! I have Celiac and am a vegetarian. This was one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten!
