Do not recommend. I was served flour tortillas in error despite ordering corn tortillas and informing the server of my celiac disease. I ate an entire flour taco before someone else brought out the meal that was actually intended for me and the error was discovered. We informed the food runner but he did not understand.

After asking about gluten/ gluten free preparation/ cross contamination, received my meal with flour tortillas. I believed this was a error on the part of the wait staff. Unfortunately, returned for another visit. After being assured the salad I was ordering was GF, I AGAIN questioned the blue cheese in it asked to speak with someone other than waitress. FINALLY, was told salad/ cheese not GF. Sadly, not considering this a celiac safe place to dine.

My son who has celiac was able to eat here safely. He highly recommends the kids margarita with the chicken and cheese quesadilla. The server was helpful and made sure the kitchen knew of his allergy. Everything was delicious!

12/2022: Still love eating here and we do often! Some new favorites are the brisket nachos, birria quesadilla, chick feliz tacos(they will put them in corn tortillas) and chicken flautas. Amazing food and service!

2019: I eat here once a week sometimes twice! Theres only 1 item on the menu that is not gf: pork carnitas. Everything else is including the deep fried fish tacos! The asparagus hurache(flatbread), fish tacos, brisket tacos, crab fundido, chips and salas are my go to’s. So safe!

The menu is not marked with GF items. However, every server that I have had knows what is GF. I usually get the chicken or brisket enchilada. The chips and salsa and chips and guacamole are really good. The margaritas are tasty too!!

Called to ask about the gluten free crispy burrito since it stated it was in a flour tortilla. The hostess said she checked with the kitchen and they could make it completely gluten free. When I got the burrito, I took a small bite of the tortilla and knew it was flour. I called and asked them to check to see if it was gluten free. The hostess checked and then said, “sorry for the miscommunication, but that can’t be made gluten free”. Be cautious of this restaurant. My ticket even stated that it was a gluten free meal.

We went here yesterday, such good food!! I am celiac, I had shrimp tacos, chips with guacamole refried beans, cheese AND a margarita on the rocks!! I haven’t had a margarita in years and it was divine. I will be back.

We've eaten here many times. The food is always excellent. The servers seem to be knowledgeable about gluten, and the majority of menu items are inherently gluten free--even the "breaded" fish in the fish tacos.

amazing mexican. found that most servers are not aware of what has guten and what does not so better safe than sorry and hav them ask.

Best Mexican around. Pretty much everything but the flour tortillas is gluten free. The fried fish tacos are even gf. The enchiladas are nicely flavored and not overly cheesy as is the case in many Mexican restaurants. The sangria is also delicious. If you are going all out you can even have flourless chocolate cake and rich coffee for dessert!
