EDIT May 2019: I come here all the time now and have never been sick. Basically the only thing with gluten here are the tortillas. It’s been a much better experience than my previous review.
”I have celiac" was met with a blank stare. Came here for lunch based on the good reviews. There was only one waitress/hostess on staff and was very rude when I asked to speak to a manager, she kept reassuring me everything was fine but couldn't give any specific details about any item besides that they do have a dedicated fryer for the chips. I ordered a burrito bowl and it was okay, nothing special. I did not get sick and would give the restaurant a second chance only because I think it was just the one waitress who was slammed during the lunch rush.
The servers didn't make me feel very comfortable that the food would be safe, but it tasted good and I had no issues afterwards. Unfortunately, the service is pretty horrible since there is one waitress, one bus boy, and one bartender for the whole restaurant (at least when I was there on a Saturday evening). The only issue I had was that I ordered a cider and they brought back a beer. Luckily I could tell the different before I drank any.
Not sure how aware my waitress was. However food was delicious and I did not get sick. I ate the chips and also enchiladas. I had her double check on the enchiladas.
The best Mexican food in the area and very gluten friendly
great. Very well knowledgeable. Very tasty
Food was tasteless. Could have made it better myself. I do not recommend.
Super knowledgable wait staff...great food.
