We went here and had a great night! Very knowledgeable about GF. Had a separate menu with the options available for us and they were very friendly. Highly recommend it.

I am gluten intolerant along with some other common foods such as garlic. GF items are marked on the menu. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and able to help me make a selection that fit my other intolerances. My barbacoa tacos were delicious. I didn't have any "issues" later.

I read the reviews and then just showed up at the location not knowing what to expect (on a Friday night). The place was super busy and we had a 30-40 minute wait. But it was well worth it. It felt so good to be able to have a good variety of options and to be able to order an appetizer, entree, and dessert. I'm usually giving up something when eating out, and eating salads gets old after awhile. Perfect place for a date night (not a place for the kids). I'm looking forward to going back and eating there again. **Oh, and I had the chips with no reaction.

Staff was friendly, and they do have a GF menu. However, I always ask about the chips to see if they are cooked in the same oil with fried foods. The manager said they "sometimes are and sometimes aren't". He said that people with Celiac eat them all the time with no problems. I got glutened from eating chips at a Mexican restaurant once, so I don't eat them if they are cooked in the same oil as battered food. Just a heads up!!

staff was great. Knew exactly what would be an issue. I react very badly to the slightest gluten but I was fine with tacos de barbacoa and de pollo. flan for dessert. Food was fantastic. Real treat to eat out. Rarely do anymore...

Very good GF options, pretty tasty food and they said only corn went in the fryer, so I could have chips. a bit pricey, but one of the best GF places I have found downtown. Will eat here again.

Lots of gf choices denoted on the main menu. Mahi-mahi tacos were amazing. Brisket tacos were very good. Table-side guacamole was delicious. Next time will try avocado enchiladas or shrimp mango salad or tortilla soup. Good service, beautiful restaurant. They give two salsas, only one is gf. Do not eat chips, chile rellano fried in same oil. Much better food quality than royal lane location.

Have easten here successfully twice now. Food very good but GF menu limited. However I give them 5 stars for creative and very tasty dishes, Gf tortilla chips and queso, and helpfulness. Ask to be seated in Ruben's section. He gets it and is very nice.

I was told chips safe. At another location i was told chips not safe because chile relleno fried in same fryer. I told waiter at royal lane about chip issue, he shrugged and said a GF child comes in every week and eats the chips. Last time i went the seafood was past its prime. First time i went, brisket tacos were fabulous. Hit and miss, do not eat the chips!

A few gluten free options available. I ate the gluten free spinach enchilada and salad, and was told the chips were safe and ate them. I reacted to something I ate; I don't know if it was cross-contamination or misinformation.

Food, atmosphere, service are all excellent. I may have had some cross contamination following my visit. GF menu is limited, but offers interesting choices. if I don't there again without the reaction, I'll upgrade my rating. my family LOVES this place. NOT especially kid friendly.

I have had Celiac for 14 years and this was one of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to. It doesn't have a lot of choices on the menu but they are very accommodating and I've never got sick there before. Their GF tortilla soup is amazing and so are there GF fajitas.

They should not have a gluten free menu. I went there twice, both times they were pretty clueless about what was gluten free. For example, their menu says you can have fajitas, but not specifically which beans are gluten free, etc. Their chips are fried with flour containing items and are not gluten free as they say on the menu. I had the same waiter both times and he rolled his eyes and was annoyed with me for asking questions. I spoke to the manager who was not much better. They don't seem to grasp the concept so I will not risk it again. Their food is likely cross contaminated or not prepared in such a way that is gluten free. Just another place trying to appeal to the gluten free fad, not Celiac.

Great place to come and eat! The general menu denotes gluten free items with a triangle. They also have flan that is gluten free for dessert.

In my opinion they shouldn't even get one star, at least not this location. I went there with my boyfriend before prom. Not only was the advertised gluten-free menu limited to only four dishes, half of what was said to be gf couldn't be actually prepared gf. I was stuck with a salad, and then got sick because of the chicken used it in.
