Very disappointing. Waitress started with attitude. Menu says to ask about GF options. I told waitress I had a gluten allergy and asked if the breakfast potatoes were gf and she kinda quickly fake thought about it and said they were in way that seemed suspect. Then when my eggs, bacon, potatoes came there was a large piece of toast right in the middle on top of everything. I told the server who delivered about my allergy and she took it back. The “new” food came out too quickly leaving me to think they probably just took the toast off and brought out the same food. Terrible service and here’s hoping it won’t have a negative impact…

The chips are in fact still unsafe. The server informed me they are cooked in the same oil with the flour tortilla chips. I ordered queso, and they gave me a stack of like 6 corn tortillas to substitute the chips, and they didn't charge for that either.
It's not a standard Mexican restaurant where you could get meat and rice with some corn tortillas. They have good options, gluten free, but I struggled to find something to eat just bc I am more picky about Mexican food. It is the only place in the airport with a GF menu when I was there yesterday, 4/17/23.

The restaurant had some good reviews, I have been fine at another location at the other airport in Dallas before. The menu listed gf options, or marked items you could request gf. I made sure to talk with my server, but I don’t feel like they put much care into it. They seemed very distracted that night. Maybe when they aren’t distracted it would be fine, but I ended up getting sick from it.

I am new to navigating gluten free establishments so I appreciate gluten free markings on the menu.
My waitress also made sure to tell me that the fryer was used for Non-safe items, without my having to ask.
I ordered the salmon with Chimichuri and it was perfectly cooked and tasty.
It would of course be awesome to be able to have the chips....bit it was a pleasant gluten free. meal at an airport. How often can we say that?

The menu has optional GF items marked. The kitchen is unlikely to make the requested modifications though. So, buyer beware.

Ate here and the server was very good at telling me what would be different from the dish when ordering it gluten free. I got the taco pollos with rice & beans. She explained the chips share a fryer so not safe. It was very good. Highly recommend if you have some time in between flights

Located in the Southwest concourse where our planes arrived & departed. I noted the GF designations on their exterior signage and also spoke with the waitress. I had an excellent chicken fajita salad.

The staff is knowledgeable and although limited, items are clearly marked. Cross contaminated fryer so beware of that. Always kind service though.

CELIACS BEWARE! I ate breakfast here. I specifically told the waitress 1. I have celiac (and what that means). 2. I cannot have things with flour in them as she asked to sub tortillas with corn tortillas 3. I said corn only is fine but i CANNOT have it if it is in the shared fryer. I said this last part 3 separate times before placing my order.
Meal comes out, she says gluten free and they gave you the corn tortilla instead of flour. I said great.
Half way through I had a gut feeling. Asked her if she was sure this wasnt fried same fryer; she stared blankly. Had her go check. Manager comes out and sure enough it was fried in the same freaking fryer!!!! Started crying bc i have flights to get on and i cant afford the inflammation and damage that will be caused.

I bought lunch at the to go counter. The Cashier was knowledgeable. The food was good.

I’m a very sensitive celiac. Staff was knowledgeable. They do not have a dedicated fryer so avoid fried things fried things including tortilla chips. Food was tasty and safe.
Very knowledgeable waiter! He warned me of everything to stay away from. Great warm and tasty dinner and a Margarita when my Southwest flight was delayed!! Highly recommend.
Yes
Good choices for airport food. GF options are clearly marked and the server understood that the chips being fried in a shared friar was a problem. The fish tacos were yummy.
