Review of Capri New Style

Wow!!! We were worried when we walked up and it wasn’t very busy but this place blew our minds. It used to be Gol, which we also liked, but is now under new ownership.

I was so excited that they make gluten free pizza, pasta, desserts and bread and they tasted almost like normal. That is nearly impossible to find in the states. The bread was my favorite. It had a beautiful crust and was pillowy and full of pockets. We paired it with their homemade bursts (also amazingly delicious) and prosciutto.

We both got a pizza. I had the O Sole Mia (GF of course) and my husband a pizza with hot dogs and fries on it. He said the fries were the worst part but the hot dogs were super flavorful and he would absolutely recommend it. My pizza would have been amazing except my pancetta wasn’t cooked at all which made it tough to chew. I ended up taking it off and crisping it up in a pan when I ate my leftovers (much better that way).

For dessert we got the GF tiramisu, which was rich, decadent and had just the right balance of coffee flavor. My husband and I both agreed it was the best tiramisu we have ever had.

The service here was also top notch. Do yourself a favor and make the drive out here.
