I asked for no bread with my salad and told them I cannot have gluten, my order came out with bread on top. The staff remade my order, but the chance of cross contamination is too high. Eat here at your own risk!

They laughed at the suggestion that anything there could be gluten free. The grilled fish was possibly gluten-free, but cross contamination could not be guaranteed. So we left.

I was very impressed with the gluten-free menu offerings at Captain D's, especially considering it is a fast food chain! All the grilled fish options are gluten-free, plus many sides including rice, steamed broccoli, green beans, baked potato, and others. (Just be sure to ask that they leave off the breadstick for your order.) My husband and I were both surprised how delicious the salmon and shrimp were. This may have just become my new favorite quick stop for meals on the go!
