We were passing through on our way to Florida. Took suggestions from here and had the grilled Shrimp, baked potato and salad. Everything was delicious and had no reaction. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Would stop again if in the area.

After driving all day from Florida up North we stayed at the Best Western in Santee and made a reservation for this restaurant. We were delayed because of traffic and called and they told us not to worry they would take care of us whenever we arrived. They did! Food was delicious and I ordered the broiled shrimp with a salad and baked potato. They delivered! Highly recommend and I have celiac.

They do not have GF menu but server (Nancy) was very helpful in identifying what I could / could not order. The Prime Rib & baked potato were excellent. I will definitely come again

Gluten Intolerant

The restaurant owner/manager should inform the hostess that gluten free options are available - she was extremely in the dark.

We stayed at the best western next door. i called to ask about GF food and was told no by the hostess. I went to the restaurant to get food for my kids because i had something in the room I could have for myself and when i spoke to the waitress she informed me that there were GF items that could be prepared and the broiled seafood was safe and cooked separately. I had Scallops and a baked potato. They were delicious. The waitress wasn’t sure why i was told that.

Great seafood restaurant. They don’t have GF options listed on the menu but do understand the requirements very well. We have eaten here several times & it is always good. I usually have the grilled salmon with baked potato & can recommend that.
