This is a long time family favorite. Since going GF, I was worried about being able to eat here. We’ve had a great experience each time we’ve gone since. Once the waitress wasn’t completely sure about gluten and went to double check everything with the chef before I ordered. Other times the waitresses have been more versed and answered questions quickly and accurately (I feel them out with basic questions to ensure food will be cooked safely.) A few times, when someone else brings the food, they’ve referred to my order as the “gluten allergy” one which makes me feel better knowing that is how it was labeled in the back. Grilled Mahi is what I usually get (don’t use the yellow sauce that comes with it) and some of the best cheese grits I’ve ever had. I usually remind them to not add the hush puppy on the side, just in case.
