Caribou Coffee

The Caribou at the entrance to concourse C offers a gluten free breakfast sandwich and egg muffin, but there are no safety measures taken to prevent cross-contamination. I ordered the sandwich, having read that it was served in a pre-sealed bag so no one else would ever touch, but that apparently ended in March. My sandwich was delivered in the same kind of paper envelope as other sandwiches. I tossed it in the trash. 👎

Beware - they changed heating up procedure. Caribou used to heat the gf sandwich and egg soufflé in closed paper bags. They now put them in plastic bags, open the bags, and use the same tongs and tray as the gluten filled sandwiches, which renders them extremely cross contaminated. So if you don’t mind eating them cold, it’s still a quick option.

Beware. I watched the barista prepare two breakfast items with the same tongs and tray, and mine was gf. I didn't even pick up the food-just left it at the counter.

The gluten free spinach artichoke provolone breakfast sandwich is surprisingly tasty. Heated in the bag, so pretty risk free. Friendly service, too! Rarely do I get a hot meal with a smile at the airport! #gftcmn

Amazing gluten free sandwich and soufflé! It was such a treat that I could eat a warm meal while waiting for my flight as opposed to the salad or bagged junk food I usually have to resort to. They come in closed bags so I felt safe eating it.

Items are clearly marked GF. The sandwiches/soufflés are individually wrapped while they’re handled and heated so I felt pretty safe eating it. Not bad for an airport!

Highly recommend the spinach, artichoke provolone sandwich!! It was about $6 and super delicious!! It came in a paper wrapper that it was cooked in - the best lunch option that i found in MSP and I was quite happy with it!

Got the chicken chorizo sandwich, and it tastes better than I expected. A little spicy, but I think that's was chorizo is? Lol. Comes prepackaged, they just heat it up!

Staff was great, sandwich comes prepackaged, they heat it up in the sealed package. Tasted great and I did not get sick. I was really very happy with it over all. I’m very sensitive to cc, so with the sealed package and the care the staff took I give this 2 thumbs up.

GF menu options (4) quickly served up hot in their sealed bags. Our 6yo gobbled up his bacon Gouda soufflé!

Total lifesaver to find gluten free sandwiches like this when you’re on a layover! Bummer that there’s dairy in both options. Sandwich was great and staff was friendly and helpful. I found it located at the beginning of terminal F - Not sure if there’s a typo in the previous review, or maybe there’s two locations

Such a relief to have a gf option that you know is safe! Way to step up caribou.

Clearly explained that the gluten free sandwiches come prepackaged. They heat and serve still in the contained packaging to ensure no cross contamination. Wasn’t bad either!! Update: Even have these available at night! Location near gate F3
