Just ate here and had a good experience. Ask for Will, he will explain everything. Have gf pasta and many of their sauces are naturally gf. Cooked in separate area in separate pans. Will eat here again!
1 star review 7/22/14...Waiter is clueless about gluten-free. Manager was less than thrilled to answer all the waiters questions from us. Manager never visited our table. I had to tell them NOT to put GF pizza directly on the brick oven shelf, but a metal tray. I asked if our pasta was cooked in separate fresh water. Waiter pointed to the kitchen and said yes {after he asked the cooks}. Pizza came out cold, but no oven burn marks. Grilled chicken was slightly burned. Daughter spied a waitress eating food off plates with her fingers. My digestion was off, so probably got cross-contaminated. Not going back to Rockwall. *Ate at Carinos in San Antonio earlier this summer. No problems. **Rockwall location was a 5 star review on 8/12/13...New GF menu. Lots to choose from. Surprised me with special batch of safe fries with my ribs. Very impressed!

I went there just after being diagnosed and had no problem. I went there twice after and got gluten both times even after telling the manager I needed gluten free. Went to another Casino's in Tyler and had no problem. I would avoid this particular Carino's
Excellent experience. I had a very knowledgeable and polite staff named Maria. I ate with a group and they brought my food separately. They also communicated to me that they would cook my pasta separately due to my allergy. They had great communication between the waitstaff and the servers. Generous portions and some more unique options than chain Italian style places. I had the artichoke pasta and it was excellent.

I ordered the gluten free pasta with spicy marinara. I was assured they take every precaution to avoid cross contamination. When I received my meal, there was regular spaghetti mixed into the bottom of my noodles. Unfortunately I had already taken three bites before I saw them. Definitely do not recommend if you have Celiac or a wheat allergy. Their "precautions" clearly didn't do much

So many options and the food was delicious. I told them I was gluten-free and asked if I had an allergy. My plate was a different color than the others in my party, so I assume that was to signal to the kitchen to be careful. No complaints!

They do not have a gluten free menu, and lacked knowledge on allergies.

Server brought a gluten free menu with about 15 options. I ordered the rosemary lemon chicken. Our food came out very quickly. It was the best gluten free Italian meal I’ve eaten out to date. Prices were reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant.
