Got the tortilla chips which were fantastic and cooked in a separate gluten free fryer. a wonderful option for the airport

I ate here and didn’t get sick. But after eating I asked them about how they prepare the flour tortillas. They are grilled on the same flat top as the corn tortillas so big cross-contamination red flag.

Great spot to eat in terminal A- beware the breakfast tacos are made on flour tortillas, but the regular tacos are on homemade corn tortillas. Located next to A16!

The guacamole and chips hit the spot. This was a treat for an airport, where options are usually limited to a piece of fruit. I had the steak taco without salsa, I am also allergic to tomatoes, taco was a little dry but good. My family ate the chicken tacos, an order with the grilled cheese and one without, and liked them a lot.

Got the brisket tacos with cilantro, onion, and cheese. No issues with gluten. Greasy but not terrible for the airport.
They cook breakfast tacos on flour tortillas, probably on the same grill top, but I think they completely switch over to corn at 11am. In any case I was fine.

Small menu with few different tacos (corn tortilla, freshly made). Good portion, clean and tasty for airport food. Salsa was extremely cold and saucy making the tacos very wet. No symptoms afterwards.

Fabulous! I had the beef brisket taco and it was DELICIOUS! They only use corn tortillas and they make them on the spot. Fresh and fabulous food!

Fabulous fresh and fast authentic tacos. Get the carne asada (steak) and carnitas (pulled pork) “con todo” - fresh made corn tortillas with seared cheese (on the tortilla), cilantro, avocado, and salsa. Nothing is marked gluten free but the only thing on the menu that’s gluten is the churros, so I would avoid the fried tortilla chips.

Celiac son had the chicken tacos with no issue and loved them. Reviewed menu on website which declared tacos were corn and GF, asked cashier about meat and he said it was GF. Avoided chips based on past reviews.

Had three chicken tacos. They handmade their corn tortillas in house. No flour tortillas served. The food was great! I did not get any chips.

I went to the counter to ask questions before ordering and found out they fry their churros in the same fryer as their chips and plantains. Just beware!

This is in Terminal A at the airport. They said everything is gluten free. Brisket tacos were very good.

I have Celiac disease and was dreading eating at the airport. I read here about Carlitos, so I gave it a try. They were the best tacos I've ever had, I feel great, and am boarding my plane with a full belly. THANK YOU!!!!!

Friendly staff and know about gluten. They say it’s all GF, and only use flour tortillas in the morning.
Delicious tacos but very spicy!

Very limited GF options in Newark’s new Terminal A. Their tacos are all made with corn tortillas (accept during breakfast when they offer flour). They are willing to get new meat from the kitchen and clean use of utensils if asked.
