This place is cute and has a gf menu. Small but I got a cauliflower crust pizza and they cooked it in the same oven as other pizzas but on a plate so there was little risk of contamination.

First time eating at a Carmella's tonight! It was fabulous! The Manager, Chris, came right over to our table when the waitress informed him of me having Celiac Disease. Chris let me know how careful they are about cross contamination by using new tongs, separate grilling space, fresh water for boiling pasta, changing gloves etc! YES! I knew I was in the right place. My Charbroiled Alpine Chicken was cooked to perfection and a huge portion! Gluten Free chicken topped with tomato basil sauce and melted cheese, gluten free pasta topped with homemade alfredo sauce and served with a large salad with balsamic dressing. Honestly, this restaurant has it all going on! Friendly staff, efficient wait staff and a great chef! I will return without a doubt. Such a great night and not feeling sick at all because I was well taken care of.

Their idea of gluten free is not to have a bun or bread with your sandwich. Fries not available gluten free. Should not advertise gluten free
The manager walked by while I was looking at the menu and warned me that they do not guarantee their food to be gluten free. He said they do their best to avoid cross contamination but it is a possibility. He also told me they have GF pasta even though it is not currently on the menu. Food was very good and I did not get sick.
