I made reservations two weeks in advance and told them about my allergy (enough time to prepare) and when I got there reminded them again. They gave me a welcoming cocktail that had whiskey! After they ask me if I can have “soy” and I told them I can but not soy sauce and they seemed very confused. The last thing is that they gave me a beer (of course not a gluten free one). I did not drink that but still got very sick 😔
No
I went to Carmen based on the recommendations here and on some other blogs and websites. They did not disappoint. I was able to have a 5 course tasting menu and they were very clear about what was in each dish. My dishes were slightly different from my partner’s who is able to eat gluten. We had such a great meal I would definitely recommend.

They don't have a specific GF menu but the staff is very knowledgeable about what is safe for Celiacs and told me what I could eat. It was only 3 options, but that made me feel secure that they take it seriously. I had the fish of the day and it was excellent.
