Cascades American Cafe

I went for the breakfast buffet. Everything is marked, but your choices are eggs made your way and an assortment of breakfast meats. Potatoes are fried in a shared fryer. They did have some overnight chia pudding in very tiny dishes intended to be an addition to your meal which was too bad. It was good.

Not worth the price for celiacs.

I was excited by the reviews, but disappointed by the experience. The server seemed knowledgeable and I ordered salmon with asparagus and potatoes, instead of the standard sides, as recommended. I double checked when I got my food and he assured me it was okay. It tasted good, but I was the sickest I have been in a long time for two days after.

They were only offering I buffet, so I told the host I was celiac and he said they had options to ask our server, our server went and talked to the chef who came to my table and went through my options with me then walked with me on the buffet. At the chopped salad station the attendant got all new equipment because there were crutons as a mix in option for nongf patrons. The chef checked in before we left to make sure everything was fine. I felt very safe and taken care of. I will proably go here again before I leave.

Cascades was very expensive. The options were very limited. I had the burger with cheddar and bacon on an udis bun. The bun was crumbly but I was grateful to have something. They seemed very well versed. Had a side salad but they said their dressings contained gluten. Luckily I always carry a chic fila ranch in my purse 😂. Not my first choice in restaurants but didn't get sick.

Really nice salmon and knowledgeable staff. You still have to ask questions and be really clear but I had no issues.

Excellent breakfast. Designated toaster and bread!!!! Wonderful!!

Very accommodating and they do have gf buns and bread.
