I’m a non symptomatic celiac so can’t comment on how I felt…but they have labeled gf items, were extremely knowledgeable from the minute I called to ask about their practices, and the waiter knew that they have a separate prep area for GF. All good!

Gluten Intolerant

Food was mediocre and overpriced, and waiter was NOT knowledgeable about gluten in foods. He assured me one dessert was gluten free, after I told him I have severe sensitivity. He said he even confirmed this with the chef. I took the dessert home, ate two bites, and knew immediately it had gluten. I called the restaurant and the woman who answered confirmed that this dessert has gluten. I ended up sick on my 40th birthday because of this guy. Don’t trust this place.

We eat here often. My daughter (celiac) loves the black bean soup, Spanish tortilla, and the shrimp tapas. Many tapas and full dishes clearly marked gf. The waiters are knowledgeable and reassuring. It is a favorite for our whole family.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. I’ve never gotten sick after eating here. The live music is lovely and the gentlemen were so attentive. The atmosphere makes the dishes that much better!

I ordered the Puerco Cubano en Mojo, one of house specialties, but it failed my Nima Sensor test. The manager was apologetic and interested in what might have gone wrong, which I appreciate. But I would. Be careful about eating here.

Great experience. Between celiac requirements and a peanut allergy... Very easy experience. Took our pre-teens. Adventurous eaters and they loved this place!

Gluten free items are clearly marked on the menu. After my group ordered I told my server I needed my meal to be gluten free and she went back through our choices with me to clarify how a few things were cooked (no dedicated fryer). When our food came she made it very clear which items I should not eat and put them on the opposite side of the table from me. I definitely felt safe eating there and didn't get sick. Happy to have found a restaurant like that, especially one that also has such delicious food!

Loved my first try of tapas! Lucked out to get an online reservation since when we called they said they were booked for the night. So glad to know your celiac-friendly reviews before going there. Enjoyed 4 small plates with my date. Great sauces and complex flavors. Everything prepared to perfection. The only complaint was that we had trouble getting water/soda refills and indoor seating at 7 p.m. on a Friday in August was VERY hot. It was probably 85 degrees in the restaurant. The place was packed! - Rebecca from Lancaster, CA

So delicious! Serves primarily tapas. It's a mix of Spanish and latin american cuisine. Menu is marked with GF for safe items. . .maybe over half the menu! Great ambience when not crowded. Popular with after theater crowd and with young professionals.
