I have been to other Cavas with no issues. Usually when you specify of an allergen a staff will go over what to avoid and designated one person to make your bowl. This place each person down the line, thankfully, most things served was with a spoon until end of the line last person used a gloved hand and grabbed something, I had to ask to change gloves, then asked if I wanted this and grabbed again. I kept saying no. Finally another staff had to explained in another language. Thankfully I didn't get sick for what I got so gave them some consideration.

I eat here all the time! Great choices, yummy food, and everything are labeled. Unfortunately, the falafel is not gluten-free, but all the other main protein options are. I stay away from lentils due to the possible contamination risk that lentils have.
They have a fun mix of drinks. You can ask for a glove change.
My go to is meatballs with white rice, the supergreens blend, hummus, corn, tomatoes, onions, pickled cabbage, avocado, and the lemon tahini.

Fresh Mediterranean food. Not a specific GF menu, but allergens are clearly labeled on website and allergen menu also provided.

I can always count on Cava for a delicious option on the go and quick to grab. So yummy. Also they have dairy free options as well.

Great place to stop for a safe GF meal. I doubt they are perfect but appears to be better than avg on cross contamination. Everything is labeled GF on the menu and on the counters they serve from.
Cava is a similar set up to chipotle in the build your own manner but they use spoons for all ingredients so there is less worry about cross-contamination. Everything is gluten free except for the pita, falafel, and sides but other than that it’s all safe. The website has a downloadable pdf with all food restrictions laid out which was super helpful. Delicious food and no reaction so far! My only issue with them is that the staff can be rude about the safety precautions, so be prepared to fight a little in order to have safe food.

I love their food and there are many GF options, but you have to be careful of you are very sensitive to cross contact. They keep pita bread right next to the rice and they are tossing bread around a lot. If you are very sensitive, I would recommend asking if they can get fresh rice from a backup container and change their gloves.

I love coming to Cava!! They make sure to change their gloves and get new bowls when I mention Celiac and almost everything is gluten free (just not the pita or falafels). They also gave me my bowl for free once!!!

I came here when I was visiting Austin and got a bowl that was delicious! The falafel is sadly not gluten free but a lot of their food is and they have a detailed allergen menu. I told them I have a gluten allergy and they were very good about it - they changed their gloves and answered all my questions. There is definitely some risk of cross contamination cuz they do pitas also, but from what I saw the serving spoons don’t touch the pita.
Me and the other celiac person I came with both felt good after eating here!
