2019 Update: The last time I went to Cayenne, I ordered tacos that automatically came on corn tortillas and are gluten free, without alterations. Per usual, to be safe, I asked my server to put a gluten allergy alert on my food, and when the food runner brought out my food, I picked up a taco and could tell that it was a flour tortilla! They had actually changed my food to contain gluten! It was several minutes until I could get our server's attention, so I sat there, unable to eat, insisting that my husband eat his food while it was hot (this was our anniversary). By the time my food was replaced, my husband was done eating. Once I had the proper food, I didn't get sick.
2017 Review: Cayenne used to be Salt, and the owner is the same (who also owns Thyme, Cracked Pepper, and Sugar). Cayenne has many gluten free taco options on the menu, you just have to ask. I'm only taking away the 5th star because their chips are not made in a dedicated fryer, so they aren't gluten free. Other than that, I definitely recommend Cayenne, my tacos were fantastic. I will be back!

I've eaten here twice and enjoyed the tacos with GF shells. Their chips are not GF. I would recommend this restaraunt. I look forward to my next visit. **I brought my own chips the second time so I could eat their guac and salsa.
