Great food! Completely Celiac friendly. We found this restaurant by using findmeglutenfree app and couldn't have been happier! My son had gluten free raviolis and my daughter and I had gluten free pasta. There was SO MUCH to choose from that is gluten free. From fish to pasta, you will not be disappointed. The menu is clearly marked and the wait staff is extremely knowledgeable.
Overpriced, touristy, terrible food. The positive reviews baffle me. We were nauseous after we ate--but not from cross-contamination. GF pasta with oily, bland Alfredo sauce and tasteless pizza. The room was so loud you couldn't hear yourself think. $22 for pasta at lunch! The staff was friendly and attentive, though.
Wonderful gluten free options. They are so accommodating and have so many choices! I was very impressed.
Wonderful Italian food in NYC. Our son is Celiac so eating GF vital for us on vacation. Ceci was wonderful variety and very friendly staff who totally understand gluten free issues. Recommend to anyone looking for GF Italian meal in the city.
Fantastic gf menu. Food and service was fantastic! Gf bread available.
Nice gf pizza, cooked and served on a disposable foil tray. Gf bread basket also provided.
Decided to give this place a try based upon the reviews. We were not disappointed! Ordered GF ravioli which were delicious. Server gave us GF bread too. Very friendly staff and knowledgeable about cross contamination. No one had any issues. We'll definitely go back!
The food is delicious and the staff is very sensitive to the allergy. I had the modified Caesar salad, risotto with shrimp spinach and peas and the flourless chocolate torte. Seriously so good!!!
A little pricey but very Celiac-safe and the food was great! I had their specialty salad and chicken with penne and vodka sauce. Absolutely excellent! They have fresh gluten free bread too. They offer gluten free beer and hard cider but I had wine. $60 for one glass of wine, salad, and entre (with tip) but worth it to be safe and eat really good food. The restaurant has a really nice atmosphere and feel too.
Excellent food! My daughter had the gluten free raviolis and had no problems. Staff understood about cross contamination and was careful. Also got gluten free bread, very good! Very large menu, lots of choices. Would return again!
Best GF pizza and pasta I have ever had! And the service was excellent too!
No wait, but we had made reservations just in case. I got the GF Penne. It was very creamy and filling. Great service, even brought me GF bread with oil to have while we waited for our meals.
The food here is amazing! The wait staff is very helpful in explaining how they can help you. The whole family loves it!
The best meal we ate in NYC. The staff was very knowledgable about Celiacs. The food was delicious. There was a large selection. The service was excellent!
Awesome little spot. I came at 1:30 on a Weds and got seated no trouble. Ordered the cheese ravioli a with pink sauce. Yum!
Wonderful! Separate cookware for everything, they serve you gluten free bread (!!!!!!!) and everything is wonderfully delightful. If I lived in NYC I would eat here far too much, it's amazing. I would suggest making a reservation to make sure you can get a table without waiting.
Outstanding dinner and great service. The ravioli was unreal. The menu has dozens of options and they bring you a basket of gluten free bread.
Really fun and enjoyable restaurant and food. Knowledgable wait staff and kept everything separate. Highlights were homemade gluten free ravioli and bread! Very unique and a must for any celiac!
Went on a Friday night at 5 before a show. It didn't get crowded until about 6. The atmosphere was nice, the service was excellent. For an appetizer the mozzarella caprice was very good not great. The only issue was the tomato was not the sweetest. The gluten free bread was very good. For dinner the penne alla vodka with chicken was the best I ever had. my wife's chicken francese gluten free was good not spectacular. for dessert we shared tart ufo was was again very good. overall a very good meal, slightly expensive but worth it for Italian in the city.
Amazing gluten free options. I ordered the Spaghetti Cobanara and was the best I have had. My fiancé, who has celiac, ordered the GF fettuccini Alfredo. She said it was amazing and better than the fettuccini Alfredo before learning she had celiac.
GF bread was great. I had the GF penne with broccoli rabe sausage garlic and olive oil - it was to die for!
Wow! What a fabulous find! We all (party of 6) enjoyed our meals (both GF and non GF). My daughter loved her (GF) vodka rigatoni. It was delicious. The pasta was done perfectly! She said the GF bread was delicious as well. The creme brûlée was fabulous as well as the panacotta. There were plenty of choices on the menu. The staff was knowledgable which makes for a more pleasurable dining experience. We will be back.
As others have noted, they were knowledgable and do have GF bread and pasta. We didn't ask about pizza. My wife LOVED her GF bread, roasted red pepper app, Ravioli and dessert. It was a great little place, right in Times Square. We will definitely go back.
Delicious meal! Gluten free bread on the table and croutons for Caesar salad. Service is excellent. Thank you!
Absolutely amazing!! Accommodating to my celiac disease. The roasted red pepper app was unbelievable as well as the risotto with calamari, clams, mussels and shrimp. Amazing! Would recommend to anyone. Wish I could eat here everyday!
Had the raviolis!! Amazing! Had other GF pasta and pizza!!!
food was great ... 2 thumbs up
What a quaint restaurant! They are extremely accommodating for gluten free options! I'm also allergic to dairy and they were able to make an amazing pasta and seafood dish! Fresh hot gluten free bread was brought to the table immediately! Will definitely come back on my next trip to NY! Everything was extremely flavorful too!
Grew at place to eat. They bring hot gluten free bread. They understand celiac. The good is fantastic.
Went here today with my family . Since I'm the only one with Celiac Disease I found it really good and great staff. Had Gluten-Free bread which was quite good. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Will be back again when in NYC.
Excellent Italian food and they understood GF and cross contamination! They had GF Ravioli, GF spaghetti and GF Penne. Their meatballs are NOT GF. They can make almost any dish GF. They also have GF pizza - I'm pretty sure on an Udi's crust. Several GF dessert options. Staff were very friendly and accommodating!
Food was excellent! They can make almost the entire menu gluten free. Spoke to the owner who was extremely helpful. All the staff was knowledgeable. We had gluten free rolls, risotto, and an appetizer! It was delicious, we will definitely be back
Shrimp risotto was so good. Yummy panna cotta for dessert!
The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating when I told them I was gluten free. They had gluten free bread and pasta. The pasta was delicious!
Waiter was knowledgeable about Celiac and knew what was safe to for us to order. The creamy pasta with sausage and peas was divine and we could eat the lemon sorbet every single meal!! Wonderfully fresh salad and the sea bass was melt in your mouth. They also carry Tito's vodka which is a plus. Definitely recommend!
When I asked about the gluten free pizza the waiter immediately asked if I was Celiac and brought me out my own basket of gluten free bread. The pasta can be substituted gluten free and so can the pizza. Great place to eat and not have to worry too much!
Great pizza and they had gluten free chocolate cake and gluten free creme brûlée so we could celebrate a birthday without having to bring our own dessert.
Fantastic. Meal was so good my wife said she would lick her plate clean. They don't have a gf menu, but have gf pasta and pizza and really a delicious experience.
Probably one of the best gf pizzas I have ever had. I highly suggest it!
I am in heaven - from STL and this Italian meal was excellent!!!
I have a gluten intolerance and found this restaurant charming and the friendly staff was accommodating. I had the gluten free build your own pizza which was good! They also provide GF pasta to substitute in pasta dishes on their menu.
The waiter was knowledgeable and dishes were made individually . They even brought gf bread!
We had originally planned to eat across the street at Nino's, but they were closed. Found Ceci's on the app and decided to try them. My celiac daughters had pasta, pizza and bread rolls. The waitress was very knowledgeable about gluten free. Would definitely eat here again.
Excellent, the best gluten free rolls and entree options. Go there, you won't be disappointed.
Menu posted on outside window says. "gluten free friendly". Two options for GF pasta (penne and spaghetti). GF bread available (served hot!)
