Well I should’ve read the other reviews first. The no contact ordering through me off, plus it was crazy busy so wasn’t easy to chat with someone. I got glutened from the chips and immediately felt sick. So then I went up to ask about them and they explained they’re fried with other “beer-battered things” ugh. They were very apologetic and brought me GF chips and compted my meal without me asking. I’m just visiting here so I won’t come again but if I did I’d know better next time. 3 stars for being glutened, but great service afterwards, and I definitely blame myself for not asking questions even though it’s no contact ordering.

Great tacos! They make a batch of gluten free chips in a dedicated fryer each week so you can enjoy chips and salsa. Great labeling on the menu for allergies.
Order on your phone, so a little tricky to get dietary restrictions across. The food is delightful! They make a big batch of GF chips when they clean their fryer out so be sure to ask for them. I always get tacos.

Essentially no human contact means you cannot discuss dietary needs with anyone. Seat yourself. Order on your phone. Hope that items marked GF are safe.

We were told that you can get both GF chips and that the yuca fries can be fried in a separate fryer if requested! The tacos are delicious too, and the margaritas are amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant for Celiacs!

Most of the food at Centro, including most taco fillings, is gluten free. The fryer is used for a breaded fish taco and so is not GF. Once a week, they clean out the fryer and the first thing they cook is a big batch of GF tortilla chips, which you get if you ask for the Gf chips. Every staff person I’ve ever talked to there has been knowledgeable about celiac. They have a “server free” model where you order on your phone and a food runner brings food out to you, so it’s a little harder to talk to someone, but you can write your needs in a note with your order. It’s not super convenient but it works. I’ve never been glutened there and I eat there regularly.
I am updating this because I just saw a review that said ALL food here is gf, that is NOT true. They have at least one thing that is not- a breaded fish taco.

The tacos here are incredible! So much so we went back the next day. (Visiting from out of town). I got the beef and my husband had the chorizo. We both said they were the best we’ve ever had. No clue how that’s even possible with tacos. I thought they were all the same. Their restaurant has a really cool vibe and heated outdoor seating. It’s a must stop!
