Chap's Taproom

Had to go to Chap‘s for a family event, I was worried what to get on the menu since nothing is marked gluten-free and it is a typical standard American food bar. I ordered what I felt safest.. the wedge salad and did not get sick.

I’d still be very careful when eating here but I was pleasantly surprised that I did not get sick. They do have gluten free drinks, such as high noon & ciders but I don’t know about gluten-free beer.

How would you rate the taste and quality of the gluten-free food you tried?

— Excellent

They do not have a gluten free menu but my waitress was very knowledgeable about what I could eat and helped answer my many questions. They have dedicated fryers so was able to eat the fries with no problem. I had a cheesesteak with no roll (they do not carry gf rolls). The food was great!
