I’m not usually a salad eater, but I had a good salad here. There were a couple other options, like a burger with no bun and a steak. It was good overall. I can’t comment on the safety at this point.

So, based on the 1 other review here, I couldn’t wait to try this place. I actually drove over an hour to try it. A chance for good GF BBQ is hard to pass up! I was so disappointed to learn from our server that they’d changed the BBQ sauce recipe and I couldn’t have any of the things the other reviewer here listed except the coleslaw. I ordered the prime rib instead of any chicken or BBQ options. Afterwards, the server notified me that they’d learned that the herb mix used had wheat in it. So I again had to change my order. The server was so kind and suggested the rib eye. I took it and it was very good! The restaurant and server overall were very attentive to making sure I ate GF. I appreciated that the cooks double checked everything before making it for me! I did not ask them to do that! They defiantly went the extra mile to make sure I had a nice experience, despite my lack of options. The server was amazing! I only wish the owner would provide some actual GF options on the menu. And I really wish I would have actually gotten some GF BBQ😔 Overall, I think it’s a safe place to eat and I’ll be back.

Waitress mentioned they offer a gluten free bun for sandwiches. Upon asking more questions the cook came out and spoke to us about our options. The BBQ sauce, baked beans, ribs, brisket, and pulled pork is gf. The cook also checked ingredients for the coleslaw and said it is safe. We asked about ordering the walleye grilled or pan fried and he offered to grill it in a separate area for us. The lemon pepper seasoning they use does not state gf but it does not show any wheat ingredients. We asked if they could just do salt, butter, and lemon on the fish and they happily said they could do so. Also offered other potato and vegetable options since the tots and fries are deep fried with other gluten items.
