Traditional local institution in Treatavere. An old restaurant with lots of character. We were happy to hear a lot of Italian and less English in the dining room as the area feels like it has a lot of tourist trap type spots nearby. This place felt very authentic and if the pictures of the owners with the Pope on the wall are an indication, this restaurant has earned its respect.

Cuisine is typical and not fussy, but filling and flavorful. They have GF pasta - a small rigatoni tube that is cooked Al dente as it should be. There are meat and fish options as well so ordering GF isn’t a problem. The host/owner didn’t flinch at the Sense Glutine request and even brought a basket of GF bread to start.
