NOT SAFE for celiacs anymore. I used to love going here to get their gluten free pasta dishes. In fact it was my favorite restaurant. I have gotten “glutened” the past two times coming here. I got contaminated a few months ago with a piece of regular pasta on my dish. They took it back and fixed it. I know it gets busy and accidents happen so I did not let it stop me from coming back. I came back tonight. The waiter kindly assured me as I was ordering that he puts in the notes that a dish needs to be gluten free so they clean surfaces and change gloves. Tonight when my pasta dish came back, it was regular penne pasta and the only reason I figured it out was because I found a piece of farfalle in the dish, and stopped eating immediately. We sent it back and got the gluten free spiral pasta. Our waiter was extremely apologetic and very kind about it. I am very disappointed that gluten free is not taken seriously here. I have celiacs disease and get extreme intestinal pain as well as other symptoms when I eat gluten. I know every kitchen at every restaurant isn’t 100% safe from cross contamination, but there is NO reason to request gluten free pasta and stress that it needs to be so, and get a full dish of regular pasta. I will not be going back.
