The last two times I’ve gone here I’ve gotten sick. I had been ordering the rebel whiz and had my suspicions I was getting sick from it, but wanted to give it another try because I wasn’t positive and the gf hoagie tasted good. Well this last time confirmed I definitely had been bc there is gluten in the cheese whiz! A waitress told me that for the first time yesterday. So I ordered it without and still got sick. They are usually super busy, might be better at being safe on a slower day since they aren’t a gluten free dedicated kitchen. No dedicated fryers either. They were better at their inception about safety, but the busier they have gotten the more it seems they don’t care about being careful with cross-contamination. It you are truly a sensitive celiac, I would avoid eating here unless you super stress it’s an allergy or else you’ll get sick.

It is nice to travel and find a gem. Something so easy and they do it well. Went here twice during my visit, it was that good. Service was great.

I am a celiac who is a also vegetarian. I ordered the portobello mushroom cheesecake on a GF bun. It was absolutely delicious. The bread was soft and warm. Seemed like the same Udi’s bun you get at Erbert’s and Gerbert’s. My family ordered regular cheesesteaks on regular buns. They were impressed also. The steak fries were also GF friendly. I did not ask if they used a separate frier. Super filling. I will definitely order again.

Tried a cheesesteak sandwich with gluten-free bun..it was great...did not get sick at all...talked to waitress (Jennifer) and she had a gluten intolerance so she understood what was o.k and not...they do not specifically have a gluten-free menu but they serve many gluten-free options...it is not mentioned on menu that they have gluten-free buns. Also...my wife had the vegetarian cheesesteak and loved it..the mushrooms were really good.
