Don’t come here. No one knows anything. The previously mentioned owner tried to tell me the rice was not safe. I’ve never been to such an unknowing place. They work in the food industry and don’t know food...? He tried to tell me that the RICE VINEGAR in the rice was not safe...but then said “I don’t know. You can try and see what happens”

Want to eat excellent Sushi and get extra care to not get glutened. Go to Chiba in NoHo. Sit at Shig's sushi bar (he's the owner). I have gluten allergies and dairy. I bring him GF mayo and he's very accommodating. They also prep and give you tamari instead of regular soy sauce upon request. I have had dynamite, sweet shrimp (with GF batter), an eel (without eel sauce), spicy tuna all items I can't have anywhere else because of my gluten allergies. I basically let Shig make me what ever he likes given my allergies. I have never gotten sick and his creations are creative and always delicious. He has great attention to detail and only buys the best cuts of fish. Three way salmon and the Toro is especially delicious. I highly recommend this place you won't be disappointed!!!
