Gluten-free is not marked on the menu but they have lots of sushi options when you have the server double check with the chef. I have really enjoyed the chef’s role.

Had lunch here, and spoke w the owner Keith about our gf sensitivity. He was so kind and helpful in sharing what we could order that would be safe. We ordered a great meal and no issues at all. Makes us much more comfortable in eating out here!

Never sick from here however it depends on who your server is as to what knowledge they have to offer about GF allergy. We will have to go sometime when the owner is there as one previously posted to see and taste more GF. I only ordered 2 things in case b/c lack of knowledge in the front house at the time
We had a delicious and completely GF dinner at Chiba and will definitely go back! We ordered a variety of rolls that were GF. Event though we brought our own (GF) Tamari, we didn't need to use it because they brought us Tamari when we asked for it. Our server Nicole, who owns Chiba with her husband, walked us through the menu and made sure that what we ordered was GF. It states on the menu that all of their salad dressings and sauces that they make in-house are GF, so we also ordered a salad. It was fantastic and enough to share. Nicole was delightful and explained that when a customer has a food allergy or Celiac that the order shows up on the computer in a different way for the chefs preparing the meals. They change their gloves and use new prep surfaces and are careful to avoid cross-contamination. I can't say enough good things about our experience and encourage you to go to Chiba for a delicious GF meal!
