Review of Chick-fil-A

Location offers gluten-free buns which are prepackaged & sealed to prevent cross-contamination. Restaurant offers the ability to order grilled chicken filet and toppings to build a gluten-free sandwich. Grilled filets and grilled nuggets are prepared separately from breaded nuggets/filets. Dedicated fryer for french fries which are gluten-free.

The gluten-free items that I am aware of consist of the gluten-free bun, waffle fries, fruit cups, grilled nuggets, grilled chicken filet, some of the sandwich toppings and drinks. Gluten-free bun is a little dry, but it’s nice to have an option for to build a sandwich. I feel confident that the bun is safe because it is prepackaged and sealed in a wrapper. I believe most of the dipping sauces are also gluten-free, but I cannot confirm for sure. When ordering a GF bun with the toppings to assemble my GF sandwich, my filet packaging did have a sticker stating “Kitchen not Gluten-Free; some items have gluten”. There is always a risk for cross-contamination in a restaurant that also prepares food with gluten.
