I'm fairly new to the very popular Chick-fil-a restaurant, and eating out in general. I've been eating at Chick-fil-a s for the last four or five years. . . I was diagnosed with Celiac in 1996. While Chick-fil-a employees are just normal humans and are doing their best, they are known for going out of their way to provide excellent and thoughtful service. That's why I went there. . . . They have a gluten-free grilled chicken sandwich on a very tasty and soft gluten-free bun and optional toppers like lettuce and tomato. . . They also have grilled chicken nuggets. (Be careful when ordering because Most people order wheat-battered chicken and chicken nuggets.). They also have one gluten-free fresh salad. Perhaps best of all, their famous waffle-fries ARE gluten-free. They state very clearly that the waffle fries are NOT cooked in the Same Oil as the wheat-battered chicken nuggets -- they use a separate dedicated oil-frier. However, please note that the new"waffle fry chips" are NOT gluten-free. . . When I ordered and specified that I needed a gluten-free meal, the clerk asked if I had Celiac or wheat sensitivities only. When I told her that I have Celiac, I watched the server make some mental notes, and said that they would be extra careful with my meal preparation -- and I watched her go report this to two others on the Chick -fil-a team. . . While I always take two Deflect capsules when I may be exposed to wheat, I am happy to report that I had No negative side effects from eating my meal inside the the Chick-fil-a restaurant. I've been to this local Chick-fil-a four times now and found that about 60 percent of the clerks do not know much or anything about their gluten-free menu items. (I must note that the local restaurant is not nearly as positive, happy, efficient or effective as the other many Chick-fil-a restaurants that I've visited in other cities.) Their condiments are not gluten-free. There is a fun play place inside the restaurant for young children. . . Just fyi, the grilled nuggets are just a bit spicy with black pepper and are marinated and flavorful --- I enjoy them and the hot waffle fries immensely. Enjoy and be blessed! : )

Chick-fil-A offers gluten free grilled chicken nuggets and many locations have dedicated fryers for fries. Check with your location if cross-contamination is a concern for you.
The multi grain GF bun is a 9 in the gluten free world. I got the grilled chicken club and waffle fries. Both taste really good and so far so good on contamination.

I have eaten here many times. I have found Chick-fil-A to be a very good gluten-free venue, however, If you have Celiac disease you must tell the cashier that the order is an allergy. Most places will automatically assume that GF is a diet preference and not use safe handling. They are trained in allergy handling and this is what they look for when working.

This Chick-fil-A is one of my favorite fast food restaurants in the area since it has a gluten-free menu.
This establishment offer grilled nuggets, grilled filets, gluten-free buns, lettuce wraps, french fries (made in their own fryer), fruit, kale salad, and other larger salads which you have the option of putting grilled nuggets on and customizing to your liking.
The cashier will communicate to the kitchen if you tell them you have a gluten allergy by having the kitchen team member change their gloves.

As a celiac I would definitely not recommend this location! I also have DH and got an awful rash after eating here. I would give it a zero safety rating if that was an option. Should have known it wasn’t safe when I was handed my food and asked if it was gluten free and he didn’t know. Most likely haven’t trained the staff about cross contamination. I assumed better from chick fil a. Your meal and service was definitely not my pleasure.

The staff warned against ordering even the grilled chicken and waffle fries because of cross-contamination. They offered me potato chips - LOL! 🤷🏼♀
