The Details:
My wife, who has celiac disease, and I ate here today and absolutely loved it. This restaurant went farther out of their way to make us feel welcome and safe than any other place we've been to since my wife's diagnosis. We notified the employee at the front about my wife's celiac disease and were immediately handed detailed gluten free menus. If I remember correctly, everything on their regular menu is gluten free except the flour tortillas and sour cream sauce. The employee indicated that they take celiac disease and gluten allergies very seriously, and that they have all completed a specific training course pertaining to gluten allergies and cross contamination issues. He also notified the kitchen of my wife's allergy, and came to check on us later to make sure that everything was good and safe. I was also pleasantly surprised that when our food came out, there were little pokers stuck in the gluten free orders that had a gluten free symbol on them. Just another comforting touch that made this visit awesome. The food was great and affordable, and my wife didn't get the slightest bit sick. The service was excellent, and they were happy to answer all of our gluten questions. Please support this business for going the extra mile; I know that we will be back often.
