Ordered off the gluten free menu. I ordered ribs with loaded mashed potatoes no gravy. Gravy was under the bacon, cheese, and onions. The manager had no clue about what gluten free was and then was sarcastic when I was explaining to him.
Very knowledgeable and a separate gf menu with lots of options. Love the potato soup!
Many choices but not the usual ones. The fries and tortillas/tortilla strips are not gluten free. We had soup, ribs, beans, rice. We are dairy free too so that is an added challenge.
Menu has specific info on GF, vegetarian/vegan (dairy, eggs & honey containing menu items are specified) items as well as fish & nut allergy information. Ask your server to show you the details on the Ziosk screen at your table. Delicious options for all!
We go here often with no issues. Fryer is not safe so no chips or fries, but the staff is very good and careful.
nice selection. options are even included in the pick 2 deal. menu allows you to see multiple allergens; helpful if need to avoid another item such as dairy or peanuts. i am disappointed that their cries are not gluten free (but glad that they make that known).
Dedicated GF menu with excellent taste. I love the grilled chicken and my favorite appetizers (chips, salsa, queso) are on the list! Never had a bad meal from here, never had a cross contamination issue. I always make sure to inform the staff of my allergy and they are very understanding, no questions asked. Wait staff is sometimes forgetful or inattentive but never bad. The flavor and bottomless chips and salsa are definitely worth a wait!
Last time I went, yrs ago, they had a pretty good selection & I didn't get sick. :)
Great place to eat if you want a meal and not just a snack! Ask for the GF menu. They are very friendly and willing to answer questions. I ordered the Margherita Grilled Chicken Fresh Mex bowl without the tortilla strips. Glad I tried this place out!
They have a great selections of options to chose. I ordered grilled salmon . I didn't have any reaction. I would totally recommend them. The server asked if I have an allergy .
Good food and service.
I go here a lot when visiting my father-in-law. Their menu includes some exclusions, but contains a lot of options. They don't have gfree bread items, but their rices are great and they've got corn tortillas vs flour so youcan take that risk if you want to. They will also serve naked fajitas so you don't need a wrap at all. Pretty good food at a decent price!
This restaurant has a gf menu. The staff is not knowledgeable about gluten free. As they state on their menu, the chance of cross contamination is possible and that is very true! I ordered the Fresh Mex bowl without tortilla strips and got the Fresh Mex bowl with about 4 tortilla strips mixed in with the rest of the food. I am sure the staff has not been trained in trying to prevent cross contamination. If you have a gluten sensitivity don't take a chance ! I won't eat here again.
Ordered caesar salad w/o croutons and chicken (allergies to both) and potato soup. They forgot soup than brought it out afyer salad. I ate 1/2 soup only to find a tortilla strip (fried in same fryer as everything else) than ate 1/4 salad only to find shredded pieces of chicken. 2nd soup brought out by waitress and appeared ok.....2nd salad brought out by manager with croutons all over it. At this point asked if we could just leave as I was already contaminated x2. Already have migraine forming amongst other gi issues. If I could rate this a 0 I would. DO NOT GO HERE if you want to stay contaminate free on your vacation! They do not take it serious.
Good gluten free options
We lobe to eat at this Chili's. We have eaten their chips, salsa, fries, mashed potatoes, cinnamon apples, rice, beans, chicken, soup, steak, salad, fajitas, & bacon ranch chicken quesadilla made with corn shells instead of wheat with no problems or sickness. We go about 1-2 times a week! :)
This Chili's always accommodates us gf three in our family. Have eaten here numerous times and never get sick. I love the Monterey Chicken with loaded mashed potatoes (no gravy) and broccoli. There's a menu with salads and other options, too. The waiter today told me the gf food is made in a separate oven in a separate pan, with separate utensils. They're friendly and knowledgeable at this location.
I ordered the Margarita Chicken with black beans and rice. It was delicious! Tortilla chips are usually served with this, but left off as they are fried in house in a fryer not dedicated to GF items. I didn't get sick, though I did take Glutenease before and activated charcoal afterwards... a precaution I always take when eating away from home. Our first waitress seemed confused by my questions, but shift changed while we were there and the waiter afterwards was more helpful. I'd give it a 4.5 if I could. (:
You can print off the allergen menus from the website but they usually don't have a copy at their locations in my experience. I do like that they have menus for most common allergens (online) but the servers generally aren't familiar with them when you're there, and you have to talk to a manager to get any location-specific info. Decent variety and number of choices but food always comes out cold.
I experienced the same thing as a previous comment. After stating my GF needs clearly and ordering from gf menu, my steak plate came out with Texas toast piled on top. sent back and the same steak and Potato were moved to new plate and given to me. Asked manager why and the response was "does or matter?" I got a 3rd plate of food and proceeded to break out in hives at the table. called corporate and was given vouchers and advised to use them at another location. No thanks, won't be back and would have liked a refund of my money.
They were closed in the evening due to not enough flights using the terminal after noon. long walk for nothin!
loved this place before diagnosed with celiac disease, and I still love that I have options here even after my world changed
