I come to Chimney Rock frequently and I have usually been treated very well. They have separate sections of the kitchen for gluten free foods, pots, racks, etc. My friend was a waitress there for years so she was able to confirm with me that all of that is true. The only time I have ever had a problem was because the waiter didn't believe me for some reason and didn't make my food gf. He was fired after for an unrelated incident, but for the years I have been coming here, only getting glutened once is great in my opinion. Just be extra sure to tell the wait staff that you can't have cross contamination and they will take care of you. They also have a pretty good selection of GF pizza, and one that is dairy and gluten free as well.

The food was so tasty… But I reacted every time I went. I told myself I must be imagining it because others have no issues. Until I had blood work following a Chimney Rock Visit and my celiac was flaring back up. NOT SAFE FOR CELIAC :’( Devastated to lose our main place.

Chimney rock has the best gf options, I know people that work there and they owner had celiac and I’ve talked to him and he’s also put my aunt (also celiac) and I at ease and made our dinning experience wonderful! So many options too!

My favorite restaurant EVER! They have so many things, I haven't even tried them all yet! My favorite has to be the glutenless pizza, the crust is so delicious. Gotta have the brownie blast sundae, too. 🤤 If you haven't gone here, you absolutely NEED to.

My daughter has Celiac and is extremely sensitive to cross contamination. She had a gf cheeseburger with fries. The waitress said the fries are cooked in a separate fryer. I’m not sure if this will always be the case, so please do ask if you are also sensitive. But both the cheeseburger and fries were EXCELLENT!!! Gluten-free hamburger bun was delicious. And my daughter did not get sick. Definitely recommend!

Surprised that 100% of reviewers aren’t saying that ChimneyRock isn’t Celiac Friendly. My case of celiac is so extremely sensitive- reacting to the minutest gluten - even if products are labeled gluten free, that’s just the FDA standard, my body’s standard is unfortunately higher. My body really sensitive so it’s extraordinarily difficult for me to eat out and not be sick for 1-2 days. ChimneyRock is my go to restaurant about once a week. I NEVER got sick from their food. Surprised that anyone could have a gluten issue from ChimneyRock.

I called the Bridgewater restaurant and the person that answered said they do NOT have a separate GF fryer, even though several of the previous reviews said that they did. The menu is “Gluten Sensitive”. If you have celiac, be extra careful.

They had the best gf pizza in the area until they changed the brand of crust they’re using. Was against the grain but now it’s something different. I think because of covid but could be wrong. They do have other gf options available however that aren’t as bad.

Best pizza around! Everything on menu is labeled if it can be modified or is already GF.

The gf pizza was good and the vegetarian chili was good too but a little watery. I do not think this place would be celiac friendly without testing your food first as it is stated on the menu that there is a risk of cross contamination. Our server was extremely willing to check on items for me and my food was labeled GF which made me feel even more confident.

I ordered the salmon (overcooked) and the brownie (delicious). Despite the many positive reviews, I got sick. Staff seemed knowledgeable and was accommodating. Many options clearly marked.

I was dog sitting for a friend in Somerset and thankfully I came across this place. The staff is knowledgeable about avoiding cross contamination and they made sure the kitchen knew that my order had to be completely gf. I ordered the queso blanco tater tots, ribeye Philly cheesesteak, and the Mayan chipotle chicken sandwich. Prior to ordering, I asked if they toasted their buns in the same toaster as non-gf buns, and the servers right away got the manager to come talk to me about their preparations of their gf food. I opted not to have my bun toasted just to be on the safe side. Food was amazing!

Long & extensive gf menu! We went for my birthday today. They have everything from wings to quesadillas to burgers to pizza to pasta to soups and salads. We ordered a pizza (which tastes like against the grain - amazing) and pasta (corn pasta) as well as the regular wings (best wings we’ve ever had!) and the CHEESECAKE with gluten free graham cracker crumbs!! Highly recommend if you’re looking for cheap pricing & plenty of options!

Just off rt 22 and 287 we stopped on our way to Atlantic City from Bergen County hopping to get a fast bite to eat on a Wednesday nite about 7pm. We were very surprised to see a full parking lot and a busling business. We decifed to sit at the bar to avoid the 35 minute estimate wait for a table. The spot we could find was a bit cramped for 2 but we ordered from a plesant bar man and he provided a seperate gluten free menu with a wide varity of choices. After ordering a coke and a burger we gpt called for a table but decided to stay at the bar. Beforevthe food came Allison stopped by tipped off that I was GF and used the app. We had a nice conversation about their commitment to serving GF. When better seats at the bar were available the bartender alerted us and we moved over. The bun was fresh my burger was closer to well done then medium but was still ok. We spent more time then we planned because of the pleasant surroundings and staff. We will mark this place as a favorite snd try to get back to try the gluten free brownie

Amazing food! I had a Gluten free turkey burger with a Gluten free seeded bun, the chips! I brought home Resses Pie!!! They had many many Gluten free options! The waiter told all there practices very throughly then went and told the manager on his own! Then the manager came and reideratted there practices. Amazing food and staff so impressed! Are here last night and had one of our best experiences ever. When we told our waitress about our sons celiac she went (on her own) to get a manager and tell him that our son has celiac. He then came over and explained how his food would be prepared in a separate area with clean utensils etc. He explained how they do everything to avoid cross contamination but it is not a dedicated kitchen so there was always a risk, which we all know, but it was so nice to know they care and do everything possible to keep people safe. Not to mention my son loved his beef brisket sandwich and brownie a la mode! We will definitely be going back!

Go, go, go! With 4 family members (1 Celiac, 1 Hashimotos, and 2 members with no food intolerances), it is difficult to find dining opportunities that satisfy the whole group. Chimney Rock has an extensive gluten free menu from pizza, pastas, burgers (gf buns), ribs, appetizers, and desserts. For our first lunch there, we ordered veggie pizzas and the gluten free brownie al a mode. Both were exceptional! The entire staff was welcoming, friendly, and very knowlegable. This restaurant has moved to the top of my list for both gluten free AND gluten full family members. Kudos to the entire group at Chimney Rock.

Their GF Menu is available every day now... The pizza crust taste the same as the frozen "Against all grains" crust, I like it but for the price I can make my own at home, we also had the ribs and they were good.

Very very very unhappy. We called. We waited close to 80 minutes for our table. When I asked what brand of pizza dough I was getting, so I knew the ingredients, I was met with "we refuse to tell you the brand of our pizza dough or burger bun"! I asked a manager and got the same reply. No help. I normally don't write bad reviews because I focus on helping people find safe places to eat but in this case it is equally important I write this review to protect people from coming here in the first place. So weird. You can sell me a Gluten free beer. I can see it is a Redridge BRAND Gluten free beer. No problem. No secret. BUT if I want to know the brand of other items. Items I want to put INSIDE OF ME they won't tell you. Don't waste your time. Not worth the risk...

This place had sooo many options! Although it was an hour away from me it was worth the drive. The staff was well trained about Celiac Disease and sensitivities. It was amazing to see the multiple beer/cider options and they even offer about 4 gf desserts, which made my kids very happy. We will be back.

If I could give 1/2 a star...I would give this place 4.5. They are not a high end establishment, but definitely deliver on making good food. They also have an extensive menu for Gluten Sensitives. Everything had great flavor, was fresh, and was cooked to perfection. Absolutely nothing to complain about. We had to wait nearly an hr for a table ( got there at dinner time on a Sat night ). It was worth the wait. Our server was very concerned about being Gluten Conscious as she wanted to be sure I didn't get sick.

Not only are they attune to the needs of the gluten free customer, the food and portions are amazing! You can easily get 2 to 3 meals out of what they serve. The prices are very reasonable as well. Atmosphere and music are very lively.

My daughter and I went here over the weekend and found an excellent place to eat. They have a separate menu for gluten free food... The food was outstanding...the waitress was VERY knowledgeable and the manager stopped by a couple of times just to assure us that the restaurant is aware of what it is to be gluten free/celiac and the cook takes extra steps to make sure we get the best dining experience without worries. We will DEFINATELY be going back.

I had my bridal and baby shower here! They were great to work with and have lots of GF options. I got glutened once, called and had a lengthy discussion with the manager, and they immediately changed kitchen policies to fix the problem for future customers. They also have an excellent GF beer selection!

I've been going to chimney rock for their gluten free pizza over 5 years. They have the best gf pizza in the area that I got all my non-celiac friends hooked on it. They just recently expanded their gf menu daily.

They have a great Gluten sensitive menu and their GF pizza is awesome!

I asked for a sandwich that was marked Gf and asked about gf sides. I told the server I was celiac and gf. My sandwich arrived with no special marking and the bun looked good. I asked the server if it was GF and he said no, that he didn't know I wanted GF. He had the sandwich remade and apologized that he had forgotten. If it looks good....it's bad I know this place gets great gf reviews but I always get eating issues on a remake and I had lost my appetite. I did bring the sandwich home and ate it later without issue.

I was able to order a meal and a dessert which is very rare for me, and I had absolutely no issues! The staff was very kind and accommodating and the food was great. I had the brisket sandwich, the bun held up very nicely and the brisket was super tender. I also had the brownie sundae for dessert which tasted great as well and gave me no issues! I would love to go back.
